The hammocks face west. The Aburrá valley drops away in front of you, the ridge across turns orange for about twenty minutes, and that's the view. There's a kitchen up here too — kettle, hob, fridge, enough counter to make dinner — but most people haul a laptop up instead, answer a few emails, and then the laptop closes. This is the pattern the reviews keep naming: booked two nights, extended to ten. The rooftop is usually why.

Manila is the tree-lined block on the calmer side of El Poblado. You're one street off Calle de la Buena Mesa, six to eight minutes on foot from both Parque Poblado and Parque Lleras, seven minutes to Poblado Metro. Two hundred and three restaurants sit inside a 0.3-mile radius. It's walkable, residential, safer late at night than Lleras, and it's the corner nomads quietly move to once they figure Poblado out.
Metro's 7 min away. Lleras is 8 if you want the party; the park is 6 if you don't.
